     The story of a football-playing tomboy Princess whose evil father tries to marry her off to a wealthy young prince who wears a tie, even in bed.
     I got that much off the back cover. To be honest I can't remember much more of the story. And I'd rather not reread it to check, if that's all right with you. Every time I open the book (which I hadn't done for many years until I started putting the website together) my heart sinks. The cover's not bad, but as for the rest of the illustrations... (the three down there to the left were selected very carefully)... If one were being very generous one might say that they had a certain naive charm. If one were being sensible one might wonder why my editor didn't get the book illustrated by someone who could actually draw. I got some practice at least...
