I’d assumed there would be no problem allowing you to download a couple of minutes of my radio plays. Apparently it's not that simple. And I don't fancy a ten stretch in The Scrubs (to be honest the BBC legal people were not specific about this last point). I was intending to work out some kind of deal. But, you know how it is. There’s shopping to be done, another novel to be written and a 4,000 piece Lego space-cruiser which needs putting together. Moreover, I have not been inundated with letters from people desperate to hear a snippet of either play. Indeed, it sometimes occurs to me that I may be only person who has ever visited this distant corner of the website. So I might not get around to working out that deal for some time...
